Meet Humphries....

Spc. Eric Humphries is a Conehatta native and is new to Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center. He currently serves in the Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System section. His job includes issuing ID cards and making sure Soldiers and their Families are enrolled in DEERS to ensure they are getting the benefits to which they are entitled.

“It is a very friendly work environment, and it is filled with a lot of hard working and knowledgeable personnel. CSJFTC is by far one of the best MOB and DEMOB stations I have been through and had the privilege to work with,” said Humphries.

He is a member of Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 1st Battalion, 204th Air Defense Artillery, headquartered in Newton. He spent four years serving in Regular Army as a Patriot missile system fire control enhanced operator and maintainer before joining the MSARNG as an Early Warning System Operator two years ago. During his career, he has to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait and Baghdad, Iraq.
