As previously announced, this year’s Spirit of Women Spring Event will feature a celebrity who happens to be from right here in Mississippi – Sam Haskell. Now, Spirit of Women announces a new addition to the event lineup that will offer attendees a chance to meet 12 notable Mississippi natives who recently contributed to the new book Coming Home To Mississippi!

Wesley Medical Center recently invested in the Discovery 530c nuclear camera, making them the first and only hospital in Mississippi to offer this breakthrough technology to patients.  Developed by General Electric, the Discovery 530c solid state detector nuclear camera offers lower radiation and more accurate imaging in a much shorter length of time.
